Having gone through my own personal battle with adult Acne, I enjoy putting together products that can help anyone with this skin condition.
Not only is this oil great for your skin in general, but it has an effective combination of ingredients that help support clear skin.
For some, the idea of placing an oil onto acne prone skin can seem daunting but understand that oil penetrates oil. It has the ability to dissolve it. So when you place this on your skin, it will penetrate your clogged pores and deliver an effective bacteria fighting effect.
- Rice Bran Oil: Rice Bran oil helps restore your skin’s balance.
- Grapeseed Oil: high in linoleic acid, Grapeseed oil helps reduces the size of open follicles and helps decrease redness and inflammation.
- Black Cumin Seed Oil has antibacterial properties that kill both type 1 and type 2 p.acnes. In a clinical study Black Cumin Seed significantly reduced the amount of papules and pustules after 2 months. This tiny black seed has many skin benefits including wound healing for acne scars and anti-inflammatory properties to help alleviate redness in the skin.
- Tea Tree and Lavender Essential Oils are both antimicrobial and antibacterial helping to kill off surface bacteria that may spread.
Place two to four drops of oil onto your fingertips and tap lightly over any blemishes, pimples and pustules.
If you wear makeup, you can mix a drop or two into your foundation before applying to your skin.
For a 1 oz bottle of oil, you will need:
- 2 tsp. Rice Bran Oil
- 1 tsp. Black Cumin Seed Oil
- 2.5 tsp. Grapeseed Oil
- 30 drops Tea Tree Essential OIl
- 30 drops Lavender Essential Oil
I hope that you find this oil helpful.
My teenage son has been using it, and overnight I've seen changes in his skin.
